Havenhouse Farm offers both lake & river fishing on site.

There is a small but extremely well stocked 8 peg fishing lake which has fish up to 14lb!

Fish you will find in the lake include;

  • Carp
  • Crucian Carp
  • Rudd
  • Roach
  • Tench
  • Perch
  • Goldfish

We run fishing competitions most Bank Holiday Sundays with a trophy for the winner!

The River Steeping that runs alongside the campsite is renowned locally for its Pike fishing, in fact, the bend in the river on site supposedly offers the best fishing of the river!

Lake Fishing is £2.50 per day, fishing in the River Steeping is free but you must have a license for both.

Fishing rules for the lake;

  1. No Groundbait
  2. Barbless hooks only
  3. No keepnets, except in competitions
  4. All fish to be returned to the water as soon as possible
  5. Children under the age of 14 must be supervised at all times
